Engagement Party
It is spring! Time for an engagement party. This cake was inspired by spring and the love birds we were celebrating! The grass around the bottom tier is wheat grass and therefor edible. The bottom tier is chocolate with a white chocolate-mascarpone frosting, and the middle and top tier are champagne cake with a framboise swiss butter cream. The cake is iced in butter cream and decorated with tiffany blue branches of fondant and sage green love bird silhouettes of gum paste. The branches also have sugar pearls.
